NC Fourth in Nation for Tech Occupations

Big picture, North Carolina is the fourth-ranked state in the nation for open tech occupations. Findings from the State of the Technology Industry Report found tech occupations grew by 28 percent, over 11 percentage points above the national average.

“We continue to grow,” said Ted Abernathy of Economic Leadership. “And the technology sectors, all four of them, continue to grow, particularly in IT and in the life sciences.”
