Best Places to Live in the U.S. in 2023-2024

U.S. News named Raleigh AND Durham “Best Places to Live in the U.S.” These two cities make up what’s known as the “Triangle” (and Chapel Hill) and are known to have a fantastic way of life. Here are the criteria for ranking:

To make the top of the list, a place had to have good value, be desirable, have a strong job market, and have a high quality of life.
