PitchBook, Propel(x) ranked the top 15 states for female entrepreneurs based on the amount of VC funding raised by startups founded by women since 2018. Where does NC rank? Out of 15 states, North Carolina came in 11th place.

PitchBook, Propel(x) ranked the top 15 states based on the total amount of VC funding that went to startups founded by at least one woman since 2018. They also noted that a quarter of VC deals since 2018 went to startups founded solely by women. The other 75% were co-founded by men and women.
